Why Conversation Space?
Do you wish that you had a space to talk about your own inner thoughts, feelings, insecurities, fears & doubts? A space where you would not be judged as weak or afraid?
The space gives an opportunity to pay attention to what happens inside us and observe in a non-judgmental way. Getting in touch with one’s feelings / emotions helps individual to feel lighter, liberated and connected.
This Conversation space is aimed at creating a safe space among individuals to connect about our experiences of life by sharing our dilemmas, our confusions, the questions that come back to us ever so often which we may not have answers to, the angst & hurts of daily living, our initiatives & failures, exchanging notes on our fears, occasions where we do not feel strong enough, expressing feelings, making new meaningful connections, reaching out or offering our learning or learning from others.
Space boundaries:
- This is not a counselling session or in lieu of any Psychotherapy.
- The facilitators hold the boundaries of the space in terms of invitation, timeline, opportunity for everybody to share and offer reflections.
- This group is not for people under treatment for clinical depression, under medication for any psychotherapy or under intoxication.
- Anyone who wishes to reach out & connect with others and share their personal stories are welcome.
- A personal narrative or a phone conversation or reference would be the criteria for participants selection.
Human Beings
Human beings are creatures of emotion and feeling, often more so than being logical. Emotional energy plays a major role in our personal and professional effectiveness, and it is becoming increasingly recognized that focusing on emotional well-being is just as important as physical and mental well-being.
The TFA Triangle.
One way to approach this is by considering the congruence of our thoughts, feelings, and actions (TFA Triangle). Mindful individuals are able to step back from their TFA Triangle and observe their thoughts, feelings, and actions from a non-judgmental and curious standpoint.
Our Guide
Our emotions act as our guide and our feelings can provide vital information. By connecting with our emotions and understanding our feelings, we can practice self- leadership in handling relationships, building trust and problem-solving.
